Dr Owen Lee, MBBS, MSc, CCFP (CFPC), FAEG (RACGP)
Early Years
Originally from Canada, Dr. Lee completed a Masters of Science in Pharmacology, before moving to Australia to complete his medical degree at the University of Sydney. He obtained his combined Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2012, after which he was accepted to the University of Toronto Family Medicine residency program, where he completed his medical training at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto.
International Study & Experience
After completing his training, Dr. Lee worked in various rural communities in Canada. He obtained wide-ranging experiences in General Practice, Emergency Medicine and as a surgical assistant. He then worked for three years as a Family Doctor and an Emergency Doctor in a rural town in Canada.
As a travel-loving doctor, he always had an interest in Travel Medicine; and in 2019, Dr Lee successfully completed the Certificate in Travel Health through the International Society of Travel Medicine.
Current Practice & Experience
In 2019, Dr Lee returned to Australia. His Canadian qualifications were officially recognised by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and he began his next chapter as a Sydney-based GP. During this time he has accumulated further experience in Travel Medicine, and greatly enjoys providing pre-travel medical consultations to his patients.
