Pharmacy Partners
Learn more about the benefits of becoming a Glide pharmacy partner
Exceptional Pharmacy-Based Travel Medicine
Glide Online Travel Clinic partners with Australian pharmacies to deliver seamless pre-travel health care. Whether you are just starting out in travel vaccinations or are growing an established service, Glide offers the opportunity to add an extra layer of clinical expertise to your in-store travel medicine service.
Utilising a shared-care model, each partner focuses on what they do best. Glide doctors provide telehealth consultations, issue prescriptions, and supply written travel health advice. Partner pharmacies deliver the in-store components of care, including vaccine administration, dispensing antimalarials and standby antibiotics, and supplying recommended travel health products. The arrangement is highly efficient, for both pharmacy teams and their clients.
As demand for pre-travel health continues to grow, we see pharmacies becoming the natural first point of contact for Australian travelers. We’re seeking motivated teams who want to take a leading role in this evolving area. Partnering with Glide positions your pharmacy at the forefront of high-quality travel medicine, backed by educational resources, marketing support, and a collaborative clinical framework designed for everyday pharmacy practice.

FAQs
How does telehealth travel medicine work?
+
Travelers complete a quick online assessment, then book in to see a doctor experienced in travel medicine via videocall. They receive clear, destination-specific advice, prescriptions for vaccines and anti-malarials to their inbox, and written travel health advice. They are referred back to your pharmacy to fill scripts, receive immunisations and pick up other recommended travel health products. These include oral rehydration salt sachets, anti-diarrhoeal medication, simple over-the-counter analgesics, recommended insect repellants, sunscreen, alcohol-based hand rub and first-aid kits.
Does Glide issue prescriptions for travel vaccinations?
+
Yes. Glide doctors conduct telehealth consultations and email prescriptions for recommended travel vaccinations to patients as part of the service.
Do travelers contact the pharmacy before attending for immunisations?
