About Us
At Glide Online Travel Clinic, we are committed to delivering exceptional pre-travel medical care.

Dedication to Excellence
Glide Online Travel Clinic is a team of Australian Specialists and GPs with expertise in travel medicine. United by a commitment to clinical excellence, our doctors provide evidence-based preventive healthcare which is unique to each individual and their itinerary.
Founded in 2024, Glide was established in response to a changing healthcare landscape - one where telehealth and trained pharmacist vaccinators made high-quality, online travel medicine possible.
With administrative headquarters in Camberwell, Melbourne and doctors consulting from multiple states, Glide Online Travel Clinic currently serves travellers in NSW, the ACT, South Australia, and Tasmania.
As one of Australia’s first dedicated online travel clinics, we’re proud to be improving access to expert pre-travel advice, helping Australians stay healthy - wherever their journey takes them.
-
Our doctors use the latest consensus recommendations from the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine, and the most up-to-date scientific evidence.
-
Our clinic utilises secure data systems to ensure patient confidentiality. Prescriptions and password-protected medical advice arrive safely via email.
-
We refer to pharmacy immunisation sites where vaccinators are trained to HESA standards, ensuring patients receive safe and effective care from trusted professionals.

Pharmacist Vaccinators
Glide works closely with a national network of trained pharmacist vaccinators to ensure safe, timely, and convenient access to travel vaccines. All participating pharmacists complete additional immunisation training and meet strict state-based regulatory requirements.
We only refer to pharmacies where staff are qualified to assess vaccine suitability, manage rare reactions, and administer vaccines according to national standards. This collaborative model combines expert telehealth advice with professional vaccine delivery through trusted community pharmacists.
GLOBAL HEALTH INITIATIVE
Supporting International Immunisation Programs
- We believe that no-one should have to suffer from preventable illness - no matter where they live.
- We support Médecins Sans Frontières, an organisation delivering humanitarian medical aid, including life-saving immunisations, to communities affected by conflict, disaster, and health inequality.
- Every consultation helps contribute to a healthier, fairer world.

FAQs
Which services are available through Glide Online Travel Clinic?
+
Glide Online Travel Clinic is for people who want to reduce their risk of preventable illness while travelling overseas. This includes accessing the right vaccinations, prescriptions for anti-malarial tablets and other stand-by medications. Travel doctors also provide advice on how to avoid common problems and stay healthy while travelling.
Prescriptions for immunisations and other medication are sent to your inbox. Our doctors will recommend pharmacies where you can conveniently have your immunisations performed, scripts filled and pick up all your other pre-travel essentials.
Which services are not available through Glide Online Travel Clinic?
+
Travel doctors provide advice to medically stable travellers prior to travel. Consultations for any new illnesses or medical issues should be performed by your general practitioner prior to seeing a travel doctor. For any medical issues which arise while you are overseas you should see a doctor in the area you are travelling.
Glide Online Travel Clinic utilises pharmacist-delivered immunisations. Not all pharmacy sites are able to vaccinate young children and pharmacies are not able to administer yellow fever immunisations. Take our eligibility quiz to find out if this will affect you.
In cases where some vaccines cannot be given at your pharmacy, you can still access a consult through Glide Online Travel Clinic. Your travel doctor will advise on the most appropriate way to access your vaccinations.
Who can make a booking with Glide Online Travel Clinic?
+
Anyone 18 years or older with an upcoming overseas trip and stable health can book a travel medical consult with Glide Online Travel Clinic.
Those under 18 years can be booked in by their parent or guardian, provided both can attend the consult together.
Can I book for my dependents?
+
Yes. You can book for your dependents.
The service works best for children who are five and over. Younger children can also have a consult, but may need to be referred to another medical service for their vaccinations.
Why does the service work best for those aged five and over?
+
Regulations in some states prevent pharmacists from administering vaccinations to children under five. It is still possible to obtain a travel medicine consultation with Glide Online Travel Clinic for your young child, but if they require vaccinations, they may need to be referred to another medical service.
Can I book for someone who requires an interpreter?
+
Yes. Please contact us to arrange an appointment incorporating a telephone interpreter.
I have a disability which makes accessing a consultation with Glide difficult. What assistance does Glide provide?
+
If you are having difficulty accessing our services due to a disability, please contact us so we can find a solution that works for you.
Is Glide Online Travel Clinic covered by Medicare?
